1. Information We Collect
NoSnooze Alarm does not require you to create an account. The app stores the information it needs to work on your device.
A. Data stored on your device
Alarm time, repeat days, label, enabled state, dismiss challenge choice, and alarm sound selection.
App preferences such as onboarding state, ad-related counters, streak counters, and other local settings.
Challenge progress and other temporary in-app state needed while an alarm is active.
B. Device and app information
Android version, app version, and device information needed for normal app operation, crash handling, or in-app update checks.
Notification and alarm permission state so the app can deliver alarms properly.
C. Advertising and Google services data
If ads are shown, Google AdMob and related Google advertising services may process advertising identifiers, device information, diagnostics, and ad interaction data.
If you use in-app updates or ratings, Google Play services may process the minimum information required for those features.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information above to keep the app useful and reliable.
Save and restore alarms and settings.
Schedule and ring alarms at the correct time.
Launch the dismiss challenge when an alarm rings.
Track whether the app should show ads or ad-free behavior.
Support optional Play Store features such as in-app review and in-app updates.
Understand crashes and improve app stability.
Important behavior note
The app keeps the alarm screen awake and blocks normal back navigation while an alarm is ringing. This is part of the alarm experience, but it does not turn your phone into a device-owner/kiosk lock. Android system buttons and device-level behavior still follow your phone's own rules.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your alarm data.
Local alarm data stays on your device unless you back up or transfer your device data through Android/Google settings.
Google AdMob may receive data to serve and measure ads in the free version.
Google Play services may process data needed for updates, reviews, and other Play-related features.
We may disclose information if required by law or a valid legal request.
4. Data Retention
Because NoSnooze Alarm is primarily local-first:
Your alarms and settings remain on the device until you delete them, clear app storage, or uninstall the app.
Android or Google device backup may copy some app data depending on your device settings.
Ad-related data is retained or processed according to Google's own policies.
5. Security
We use reasonable technical and design measures to help protect data, including local storage and system alarm APIs. No method of storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Your Choices
You can add, edit, disable, or delete alarms at any time.
You can stop using ads by purchasing the ad-free option, if available.
You can uninstall the app or clear app storage to remove local data from your device.
You can control ad preferences through Google/Android ad settings where available.
7. Third-Party Services
NoSnooze Alarm may use these services:
Google AdMob for ads in the free version.
Google Play In-App Review for review prompts.
Google Play In-App Updates for update prompts.
Those services have their own privacy policies and may process information independently.
8. Children's Privacy
NoSnooze Alarm is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
