Kumudan Softwares built Pet Health Card to help pet owners keep vaccination schedules, medical history, vet contacts, and related documents together. This policy describes the current Android release with package ID in.kumudan.pethealthcard.
Current release: Pet Health Card stores its working records on your device. It does not currently provide account login or Kumudan-operated cloud synchronization.
The app may store information that you choose to enter, including:
Structured records are stored in the app's local database. Selected attachments are copied into app-private storage so the app does not depend on temporary access to the original file.
The app uses these records to display pet profiles, vaccination status, due-date suggestions, medical timelines, prominent allergy notices, vet contacts, and health-record PDF exports. Vaccine dates are planning aids and remain editable by the user.
Pet Health Card uses Android's system file picker when you choose a photo or PDF. The app does not request broad storage, camera, contacts, location, microphone, or notification permissions. You decide which documents to provide through the system picker. Network access supports Firebase diagnostics, configuration, App Check, Founding-entitlement assignment, Google Play Billing, and—only when enabled and permitted—advertising.
You can create a PDF containing selected pet-profile, vaccination, medical-history, and vet-contact information. Sharing starts only when you use Android's share interface and select a destination. The receiving person, app, or service may retain or process the shared copy under its own privacy practices. Kumudan Softwares cannot delete copies held by recipients or third-party sharing services.
The app uses Firebase Crashlytics for diagnostics and Firebase Remote Config for safety switches controlling whether billing and advertising features may activate. For release builds, an App Check-protected Cloud Function can receive a random locally generated installation ID, store a one-way hash of that ID, assign a sequential install rank, and return the applicable Founding entitlement. This rank system does not upload pet-health records or attachments.
The current release does not provide Firebase Authentication or account-backed cloud synchronization. A settings or plan screen may describe cloud sync as a Pro feature planned for a later activation; pet records and attachments remain local until that feature is implemented and the policy is updated.
Android backup is enabled in the current application configuration. Depending on your device, Google account, operating-system version, and backup settings, Android or your device provider may back up or transfer some app data. Those backups are controlled by the platform provider and your device settings, not by a Pet Health Card account.
During Phase 0, every feature remains unlocked, no paywall is shown, the Google Mobile Ads SDK is not initialized, and the app makes no ad requests. If monetization is activated after install 5,000, eligible Free users ranked above 5,000 may see banners on low-risk screens and may voluntarily watch one rewarded ad for one PDF export. The app does not use interstitial ads. Ranks 1-5,000 and users with an active trial or Pro entitlement remain ad-free.
Before an ad request, Google's User Messaging Platform checks whether a consent message or privacy-options entry point is required. When ads are permitted, Google Mobile Ads may process device and app information, advertising identifiers where available, IP address, consent choices, and ad interactions under Google's Privacy Policy.
The app integrates Google Play Billing for the pro_yearly subscription and pro_lifetime one-time product. Google Play processes the transaction and purchase history. An App Check-protected server function verifies purchase tokens with Google Play before granting paid access and stores the product, verification time, active state, optional expiry, and one-way hashes of the installation ID and purchase token. Payment-card details are not provided to Kumudan Softwares through the app.
Firebase Crashlytics automatically processes crash stack traces, relevant application state, relevant device metadata, and a Crashlytics installation identifier to identify crashes, non-fatal failures, and application-not-responding events. Pet names, medical records, microchip details, attachment contents, and vet-contact information are not intentionally added to diagnostic reports. The app does not include Google Analytics breadcrumb logging or custom health-record fields in Crashlytics reports.
Your local pet-health records are not automatically sent to Kumudan Softwares by the current app. Kumudan Softwares can review Crashlytics reports, Founding-rank records, and purchase-verification records consisting of hashed identifiers, product and entitlement state, relevant dates, rank, and ad-free status. If you contact support by email, we receive the information you choose to include in that message, such as your email address, description of the issue, and attachments. We use these records to operate entitlements, prevent duplicate claims, respond to support, and troubleshoot reliability problems.
The app uses Android's application sandbox and app-private file storage for its local database and copied attachments. These are reasonable platform protections, but no device or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Local records remain until they are removed through supported app controls, the app's storage is cleared in Android settings, or the app is uninstalled. Device or cloud backups managed by Android or a device provider may follow separate retention schedules. Exported or shared copies remain wherever you or a recipient saved them.
Hashed Founding-rank and purchase-verification records may be retained to preserve limited-program integrity, validate paid access, handle renewals or expiration, and prevent reuse of purchase tokens. Crash reports, App Check information, Remote Config processing, advertising data, consent records, and Google Play purchase records also follow Google's applicable retention and deletion practices.
Because the current release has no Kumudan cloud account, contacting us cannot remove records that exist only on your device. A previous hashed Founding-rank record may not be recoverable from a reinstalled app because the local installation ID changes. For questions about support messages, diagnostics, or entitlement records, email the address below.
The app does not ask users to provide their age and does not include account registration in the current release. Pet owners or guardians should supervise any minor's use of health records and document-sharing features. If you believe a child sent personal information directly to Kumudan Softwares through a support message, contact us so we can review the request.
Pet Health Card organizes user-entered records and offers editable scheduling suggestions. It does not diagnose animals, prescribe treatment, or replace advice from a qualified veterinarian. Rabies and other vaccination requirements may depend on local law, product licensing, the animal's history, and professional guidance.
We may revise this policy when the app's features or data practices change. The updated page will show a new effective or last-updated date.
