Kumudan Softwares built Tapsy: Tap Counter as a lightweight Android app for creating and using simple counters. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Tapsy mobile application.

Tapsy stores the counters you create in the app's local Room database on your device. Counter records may include the counter name, icon, color, current count, step size, optional target, ordering, daily-reset setting, timestamps, and app-generated local identifiers.
Tapsy also stores app preferences in Android DataStore, such as theme mode, dynamic color, haptics, and tap-sound settings.
This local app data is used to provide the app's counter features. Kumudan Softwares does not receive this local counter data through the current Tapsy app build.
Tapsy includes Android backup rules for the local counter database and preferences. If Android backup is enabled on your device and supported by your device settings, Google or your device backup provider may back up and restore this app data according to your device account and backup settings.
Kumudan Softwares does not control your Android account backup settings or the backup provider's processing.
The current Tapsy build does not require account registration or login. It does not include advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, crash-reporting SDKs, in-app purchases, subscriptions, or Kumudan-controlled cloud sync.
The current Tapsy build does not request dangerous Android runtime permissions such as location, camera, contacts, microphone, notifications, or file/media access.
The app may use standard Android platform features such as local storage, haptic feedback, and system theme behavior to provide the app experience.
Local counter data and preferences are used to create, display, sort, update, reset, and restore counters; show daily activity; remember settings; and support Android backup and restore when enabled on the device.
Tapsy does not include user-to-user sharing, public profiles, or developer-operated cloud sharing in the current build. Kumudan Softwares does not sell Tapsy counter data.
If you contact Kumudan Softwares by email for support, the information you choose to send in that message will be handled for support and communication purposes.
Tapsy uses Android's app-private storage for its local database and preferences. These platform protections help keep app data separated from other apps, but no storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Local Tapsy data remains on your device until you delete counters, clear the app's storage, or uninstall the app. Android backup copies, if created by your device backup provider, may follow that provider's retention and deletion practices.
Tapsy is a general productivity utility and is not designed specifically for children. Kumudan Softwares does not knowingly collect children's personal information through the current Tapsy app build.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
